Bean-and-Cheese Burritos

Ingredients
8 flour tortillas 6 inch
1 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons water
1 can nonfat refried beans (16 ounce)
1 can green chili pepper (4 ounce) drained
and diced
cup monterey jack cheese lowfat, shredded
3 cups lettuce shredded
cup salsa (bottled)

Meanwhile cook the onion in the water in a medium saucepan until tender.

Donot drain. Stir in the refried beans, diced green chilli peppers, and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir until heated through. Spoon about 1/3rd cup ofthe bean mixture onto each tortilla just below the center. For each burritosprinkle about 3 Tbl of the cheese atop the bean mixture; roll up tortilla.
