I love Green Tea and try to incorporate it into dishes whenever I get the chance as it’s so healthy and full of antioxidants. You can use whichever tea you prefer and experiment a little with fruit or herbal teas for a different flavour combination if you like.

I can’t believe Joanne and I are finally able to share this recipe with you. You see, we have wanted to share this recipe with you for a looooong time now. It’s hands down our favorite go-to breakfast recipe, it’s healthy and if you haven’t experienced the aroma from roasting portobello mushrooms in the oven, you haven’t lived.

This crostini is simple to make and hearty, without being overly heavy. I adore appetizers, but hate when they leave me feeling too full for the main course.

Pleasantly dense, but still tender. Smelling of warm cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. The outside craggy and a little crisp, the inside rich and moist with chunks of pillowy soft apples, bursts of sweet dates, and hunks of crunchy walnuts.

The recipe I used for these cookies was from the MarthaStewart.com. I tweaked it a little to make it easier for the little one to manage.They came out perfect, soft chocolate cookies with gooey marshmallows and rich chocolate worked well together.

It’s a work in progress and changes depending on what vegetables I have on hand. It really is a complete nutritional meal in one dish. It’s also wonderfully textured with the crunch of the peppers and nuts balanced against the creaminess of the Quinoa.

Until this point the plan had been for ribs, crusty bread, a big bowl of dipping sauce, and a lot of paper towels. Dead simple, perhaps with some. But then I got the idea of a super sandwich, and my thoughts turned to bánh mì.

This is not a traditional version. I replaced the green bell pepper, added chili powder, garlic with hot pepper, smokey paprika, and tomato paste.I'm also thinking that it would be a great base for vegetarians/vegans to play with in a taquito, on nachos, or even as a meatloaf.
