Pickled Fish With Coconut Milk

Ingredients

1 pound smelt dressed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
3/4 cup coconut milk thick Note: Use Lowfat coconut milk

Preparation

Marinate fish in vinegar, salt and turmeric for at least 1 hour. Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 5 minutes. Add coconut milk and simmer 5 minutes more.

NOTES : Delicious if you like that tangy vinegar taste.
