Lamb Shanks and Bbq Sauce

Ingredients

4 tablespoons marg
2 onions, sliced
4 rashers bacon
2 cups water
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons shredded green pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Melt butter & saute onion & bacon. Remove. Roll shanks in seasoned flour & place in pan. Saute. Drain off excess fat. Mix tomato soup, water, salt, sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, onion & bacon. Pour over shanks & simmer 2 hours over direct heat. Serve with rice & green peppers.
