           cup Packed brown sugar
          3 tablespoons Firm margarine

i would love to make this dessert, but i am a bit confused with the
quantity of the egg whites. i understand 3 cups, but what is the X
for, plus by 1/2 ? would love to get a reply - and sending my thanx
before hand.

I think that the person meant 3 egg whites or 1/2 a cup of egg whites
