How to Make an Asparagus Tart

March 31, 2015

Since spring has officially arrived, I have been obsessed with the seasonal produce that comes along with it.  Do not get me wrong, I love me a sweet winter squash, a bright citrus salad, or hearty bunch of kale but seeing a bundle of green asparagus is a breath of fresh air.  Asparagus is just the beginning.  I am excited to get my hands on English peas, artichokes, ramps and fiddlehead ferns.  With that being said, I present to you the easiest recipe for a simple and delicious asparagus tart.  Crisp buttery puff pastry encases sweet asparagus with a touch of salt from the parmesan cheese.  This elegant dish is perfect for any spring gathering or just if you are looking for a no-brainer type of dinner.
