ANOLON is the proud title sponsor of IFBC 2015. The ANOLON team is very excited to meet all of you in Seattle this weekend! Be sure to stop by to see us at the opening reception on Friday where you can see Anolon Advanced Umber and Anolon Nouvelle Copper cookware in action with a cooking demonstration and tasting. We’re partnering with Seattle’s own Skillet Diner, serving up a tasty dish from their popular menu. Come say hello and grab a bite! (And don’t forget to pick up an ANOLON gift in the IFBC gift suite that evening, too!)

On Saturday morning, we’re delighted to present blogger extraordinaire Irvin Lin of Eat the Love, who will be on stage to welcome everyone and introduce this year’s keynote speaker, Kim Severson of The New York Times. Irvin will also announce an instant ANOLON skillet giveaway with 50 random winners! Be sure to attend this for a chance to be among the 50 lucky winners.

After Kim’s keynote address, join us at our ANOLON Discovery workshop, where Irvin Lin of Eat the Love will be joined by Seattle-based food stylist Sarah Flotard for a presentation on “How to Create Standout Holiday Content.” This timely workshop will include sampling of holiday brunch-style treats – a scrumptious savory cheese tart (recipe developed by Irvin Lin), paired with a festive holiday cocktail (non-alcoholic option will also be served), courtesy of mixologist and co-owner of Hopscotch in Oakland, CA. We’re also sending everyone who attends the workshop an ANOLON cookware gift to help inspire creativity this holiday season (gift will be shipped to you post-conference).

More fun follows on Saturday evening at the Culinary Expo. Visit us to view the newest cookware collections, and learn about the many different things that make ANOLON a standout name in gourmet cookware. You’ll also have a chance to receive another ANOLON gift, and enter to win special prizes. We’re giving away 25 Anolon Advanced Umber Skillets. Come say hello, and let’s talk a little cookware!

coravin

“I’ll have whatever’s open,” how often have you heard (or said) this? As a guest at a dinner party, the last thing you want to do is make your host open a bottle of Chardonnay while everyone else is drinking Cab. Enter Coravin. The Coravin System is the first tool of its kind that allows you to serve, pour, and enjoy whatever wine you want, in any quantity, at any time, without waste or compromise.

Here’s how it works:

So, what?
So, this means you never have to open a bottle of wine (if you don’t want to). This is a fantastic tool for wine collectors who don’t want to risk opening bottles of fine wine if they’re not 100% sure that they want to finish it in one sitting, and for solo wine drinkers who only want a single glass of wine. But Coravin also allows you to drink wine in a way that has never been possible before.
What about those nights when your husband can’t wait to dip into his favorite bottle of Chablis, but you’ve been craving Merlot all evening? Or have you ever tasted Pinot Noirs from California, New Zealand, Oregon, Australia, and France side-by-side, all in one evening? Of course not, because you’d never open five bottles at once with only a few people. With Coravin, you don’t have to worry about opening bottles, because you don’t have to.

Come find us at IFBC ’15 to learn more about the Coravin System, and see it in action Friday evening at the opening reception! We look forward to seeing you there.

Stop opening. Start Tasting.
