Soy yogurt is yogurt prepared using soymilk, yogurt bacteria (Lactobacillus Bulgaricus Streptococcus thermophilus), and additional sweeteners. It has a flavor and consistency that is similar to that of dairy yogurt, and is suitable for vegans .
Soy yogurt can be bought ready-made from health food stores, but it can easily be made at home.
