Mango & Tomato
What are hamentashen? They are triangular shaped cookies (because the evil Haman wore a triangular hat) filled with jams, poppy seed spread or chocolate.

Honey, What's Cooking?
So this past week I had some mushrooms at home and decided to make Mushroom Paninis for my husband and I. I took this recipe up several notches by caramelizing the onions with butter in a Cast Iron Skillet - oh yeah! Sound good, right? It was delectable!

Mommie Cooks!
When I say the words “Bananas Foster French Toast”, what thought comes to your mind? For me it’s one all encompassing word. Scrumptious.

There is nothing much simpler than roasting veggies. The caramelization brings out the sweetness in the carrots and the subtle hint of Meyer Lemons adds a really delightful flavor. I have made them several times and just had to share this recipe!

Cherry on a Cake
They were bananas after all. No? The only difference being that you cook them rather than eat them raw. But they are bananas just as cooking apples are apples....yes? I rest my case.

They were big boys. They were round... good handfuls. I've never met them before, so I was a bit shy introducing myself.

Treats...Making Everyday a Little Bit Sweeter
When it comes to unusual food names the British definitely take the top prize. Care for some bubble and squeak or spotted dick? How about toad-in-the hole?

BS' in the Kitchen
Continuing on with the asparagus theme, I cooked up a somewhat unique breakfast dish. Hashbrown topped with a fried egg and asparagus with an asparagus puree to use as a sauce.

Is it "en-dive" or "on-deev"? Would you believe there is only one correct pronunciation?

Fit Foodista
Looking back on my recipes of late, one would never know I am supposed to be a healthy food blogger. I’m chalking my recent spate of less than slim recipes to the ultimate depths of winter burn out; and stating here and now that I promise I’ll get back on the good-food track.

Eat, Live, Run
I totally have your dinner covered tonight. You must make these turkey burgers, not only because they are incredibly simple, fast and delicious but because they take feta to a whole new level.

PB Blossoms are little sugar-dipped peanut butter cookies with a Hershey's Kiss perched perfectly on top. You've probably eaten them...and you might just have the recipe in your arsenal.

Dianasaur Dishes
I've been wanting to come up with a healthy recipe for Chinese chicken salad. I love the brightness of oranges and tangerines in salad, and combining their juice with some Asian ingredients makes a flavorful dressing. But all to often when ordering an Asian chicken salad in restaurants, the salad dressing is loaded with sugar (as is the chicken marinade) and the the salad itself has mountains of friend wonton strips piled on top.
