Ree Drummond is about to star in a brand new reality show on the Food Network -- Pioneer Woman. The show follows Drummond in her life on the ranch with her husband and four kids.
But Drummond didn't want a regular reality show, nor did she want the usual cooking show of her standing behind a counter for 30 minutes. Instead, she opted for something a little different. The Pioneer Woman is going to be a mix of cooking instructions with video footage of her life on the ranch with her family.
"I wanted it to be as natural as possible, which is hard to do when there's a camera in your face," Drummond said.
Pioneer Woman premieres Saturday, August 27 on the Food Network.

If she were a real pioneer woman, she'd have her hair braided and up, not hanging down to get into the food. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of food she cooks. When I think of pioneer cooking, I think of pies and stews.

I read that her website gets 23 million views a month, so I'm sure her show will have a pretty big fan base right off the bat.
Hopefully her show is better than that new "Hungry Girl" series they put on. That show is a train wreck.
