I would like to know what to do with pomegranates. I usually toss them in a salad or just pop the seeds in my mouth! Is there anything else that I could do? recipes?
Thanks!
Those are two great things you can do with them. Type Pomegranate into the 'search' box above and you will find many, many other uses for them. I love them and just eat them like candy. They are full of good things.
They're most often found in salads, but they make a nice sorbet or ice cream. You can make a fruity sauce using the juice along with chicken broth and white wine to top chicken or fish. Traditional mexican chile rellenos have a walnut sauce and are topped with pomegranate seeds. You can make a relish, or stuffing or a glaze for beef.
There are several hundred recipes- everything from pomegranate molasses, lemonade and margaritas to a lamb glaze. Just type in pomegranate into the search box above.
After my morning coffee, and Muhammad's pomegranate milk shake, I am going to tackle one of these pomegranate recipes...I have about 12 of them sitting on the kitchen table. I like the idea of using it as a glaze...I might do that!
Thanks guys!
