Vanilla-Lemon Cheesecake Macarons

French macarons are excellent one-mouthful treats that take on big flavors, so it’s only fitting that they’re transformed into cheesecake bites in this recipe from La Bonne Bouche. These cheesecake macarons are made with a mixture of cream cheese and whipping cream, with gentle folds of lemon curd and extra zest to punch up the vanilla and almond.

Cheesecake Macarons

Ingredients:

120 g almond meal
200 g powdered sugar
100 g egg whites
30 g granulated sugar
food coloring gel
250 grams cream cheese (Philadelphia or any other cream cheese would do)
2 tablespoons whipping cream
3-5 tablespoons lemon curd
lemon rind
vanilla
