A new study from Bangor University found that as few as two sugary drinks a day for over four weeks can dull sensitivity to sweetness. This leads to a "vicious cycle" where the desire for that sweet treat results in higher sugar consumption. The lead scientist was careful to note that this phenomenon is not limited to processed sweets, but also to fruit juices and other naturally sweet drinks.

Very interesting! I do notice that when I start having more sugar in my diet, I crave it that much more.
