Creep Found Videotaping Starbucks Bathroom

May 20, 2011

A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly recording over 40 women using the bathroom at a Glendora, California Starbucks coffee shop. William Zafra Velasco, an unemployed student and resident of San Dimas disguised the camera as a coat hook on two separate days in April. He placed the camera directly across from toilet and sat in his car downloading the images once every hour. A Starbucks employee spotted the device and called police.

Detectives later arrested Velasco and confiscated his laptop computer. On it they found images of 45 women and children using the restroom. Police officials say it doesn't appear that Velasco uploaded any of the images online or distributed them.

He will face felony charges in the case. After posting $50,000 bail, Velasco was released and will appear in court on June 21.
