Hard Candy

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly. Cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees). Remove from heat; add food coloring and flavoring oil. Pour into pan (cookie sheet with sides) of powdered sugar. When candy starts cooling enough to eat, cut with scissors.

Barb Says: What is CHRISTmas without hard candy? These are great to wrap and put in the little ones (big ones too) stockings. HO HO HO!
