About
A sardine is an oily fish of the Clupeidae family, usually less than 6" long, related to the herrings. It is a much prized fish in many countries, like Morocco, India and Portugual, where they are dryied, salted, smoked and, as widely known, canned with oil.
They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
