Fast Brandied Fruit

Ingredients

1 quart (about 1 1/4 pounds) fruit, cored/seeded/skinned as needed
1 cup sugar
3 cups brandy or other liquor

Preparation

Place fruit inside a large jar.

Stir in the sugar.

Pour brandy over the fruit to cover by an inch. Cover and store in a dark, cool place for at least one month.
