About
Back in the day, lunch was a simple sandwich, probably on white bread with either ham and cheese or peanut butter. Today, we have to be conscious about allergies to nuts in our schools, and ham and cheese on white bread just doesn't make the grade nutritionally anymore. So, here to help is Chef Tom Filippou, Executive Chef, President's Choice, with some creative and delicious kid and parent-friendly lunches that are packed with nutrition and can easily be put together in less than 10 minutes. Add a high calcium food or beverage, such as cow, enriched soy or almond milk to balance out the meal. Give these a try - they`ll quickly become your kids' favourites – and possibly yours too!
