Apple Preserves

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup hot water
4 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 teaspoon apple pie spice

Preparation

Combine sugar and water in kettle. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Stir in apple and simmer until apples are transparent. Stir in apple pie spice.
