English Mint Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup malt vinegar or cider vinegar

Preparation

Combine mint, sugar, and boiling water in a heatproof bowl.

Stir until sugar is dissolved.

Stir in vinegar.

Let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours to allow allow flavors to develop.
