Quick & Delicious Apple Fritters

Ingredients

3 apples (gala, fuji or any "hard" fleshed apples work best)
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/2 cup milk (approximately)
brown sugar or icing sugar for sprinkling
oil for cooking

Preparation

Wash, core and slice apples horizontally for a 1/2 inch slice.

Mix pancake, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.

Add milk slowly to dry ingredients. Only add enough milk to make a thick, doughy mixture.

Dredge apples in pancake mixture so that the apples are well covered.

Fry apples in oil, flipping them & waiting until they are golden brown OR for healthy alternative, lay apple fritters on a greased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.

Once fritters are done sprinkle with brown sugar or icing sugar to taste.
