Berry Blackberry Buckle

Ingredients
Cake ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
5 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
Crumble topping ingredients:
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter

Cake:

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

In a mixer bowl, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy and light with an electric mixer on medium speed.

Add egg. Beat until smooth.

Combine milk, blackberry brandy and vanilla.

Spoon berries evenly over batter.

Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon.

Cut in butter until crumbly.

Sprinkle over blackberries.
