Hot Tamales

Ingredients
1 pound Sausage (hot)
1 tablespoon Chili powder
5 pounds Corn meal, plain or self rising
1 cup Shortening
3 tablespoons Chili powder
2 pounds Chuck, ground
Preparation

Mix meat, 1 tbsp chili powder, tomato sauce; set aside. Mix cornmeal, shortening as a pie crust. Stir in chili powder. Add boiling water to get desired consistency (wet enough to pat out on tamale paper). Put tamale paper in container, pour hot water over them. Add oil to water. Start rolling tamales: Lay terry towel on counter. Place 1 tamale paper on towel.
