White Chocolate Blondies
Ingredients
6 ounces white chocolate
cups sifted flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Lightly grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch glass baking pan. Cut the chocolate into small chunks. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until smooth and blended, about 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate and nuts by hand. Pour into greased baking dish. Dough will be stiff. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool.
