Signature Salad Dressing

Ingredients

Your favorite balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and additional seasonings.

Preparation

Kitchen Tools: whisk, a non-aluminum meal bowl, glass bottles or porcelain cruets, spouts, and caps.

Directions: Make your salad even healthier by mixing your dressing first and then serving it on the side, it will keep the calories count at a low. Plan to use about 1 tablespoon of oil olive and balsamic vinegar dressing per 2 cups of salad.

If you want to “eye-ball” the recipe, three parts olive oil and one part balsamic vinegar, seasoning is 1 tablespoon or to taste.

Tips: For a better flavor, thoroughly mix the oil and vinegar add additional seasonings if wanted. Then add the oil in a slow steam, whisking constantly, until dressing is translucent. Or, shake the ingredients together in a small jar with a tight-fitting lid. If not using dressing right away, whisk or shake again before using.
