Cherry Coffeecake

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
cup butter softened
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
teaspoon baking powder
teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt
1 can cherry pie filling - (21 oz)
(or your favorite flavor pie filling)
cup sugar
cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter chilled

Heat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup butter in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy (1 to 2 minutes). Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Reduce speed to low; beat until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes).
