Crispy Baked Chickpeas
Ingredients
1 can chickpeas
Kosher salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil
Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation

Rinse the chickpeas in a colander, then spread them on a clean towel to dry or pat dry with paper towels

In a bowl, toss chickpeas with enough olive oil to coat (but not drench)

Spread on a baking sheet, sprinkle liberally with kosher salt and pepper, and bake in a 400 degree F oven for 15 minutes

Stir, then bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy.

Garnish with sesame seeds

About
Any spices can be added to this recipe, such as zatar, ras el hanout, cumin, herbes de Provence, etc..

What a great idea! I will make them this week. . .what a delicious way to use chick peas.
