Ingredients
6 larges eggs
3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons anisette
3/4 cup shortening

Flour a baking sheet. Make a mound not too high or too wide.

My mother says this is THE BEST recipe she's found for authentic biscotti. You'll have to keep an eye when baking, though, as no bake times are offered for her recipe.
Stores well in a cookie tin for several weeks.
