Amish Friendship Cake Bread

Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
2 cups milk
2/3 cup oil
1 cup sugar 2 c. plain flour
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup applesauce

Day 5: Transfer starter into a larger container and add 1 cup plain flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk.

Day 10: Add as you did on Day 5; put 1 cup in 3 different containers. Give 2 away with this recipe and keep 1 for yourself to make another starter.

Add to the remaining batter the oil, 1 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, eggs, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, soda, baking powder and any optional ingredients. Spray 2 loaf pans with PAM and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes in pans.
