Peanut Brittle - Sing Dana Chikki !

Ingredients

5 1/2 cups Jaggery
1 tablespoon Ghee

Preparation

Roast peanuts in a non stick pan...Let it cool slightly..dehusk them.

Grind them in a grinder.

Heat ghee in heavy bottom pan, add Jaggery and make into a thick Syrup on a low heat.

Now add ground peanuts into syrup and mix well..switch of the heat..

After mixing well immediately spread to 1 centimeter (1/2 inch) thickness on a greased tray or thali.

Cut into squares when cool...
