German Apple Pudding Cake

Ingredients
2 cups Peeled Apples, Diced
1 cup Sugar
1 whl Egg
1 cup Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 cup Nuts, Chopped
3/4 cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Flour
1/4 cup Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Nuts, Chopped
1/2 cup Raisins
Preparation

1. Mix apples and sugar together.

2. Let stand until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.

3. Add eggs and mix well.

Cake:4. Sift dry ingredients together.

5. Stir into apple mixture.

6. Add nuts, raisins and vanilla.

7. Pour into 8 x 8" pan which is slightly oiled.

Topping:1. Mix sugar, water and flour. Cook until slightly thick and clear.

3. Pour over hot baked cake while still in pan.
