Candied Apples

Combine sugar, syrup and water. Cook without stirring to hard crack stage, 300 degrees F. Add food coloring. Cinnamon may be added for flavor. Put sticks in washed apples and dip to cover the entire apple. Swirl to remove excess candy then place on a greased pan to cool.
