Carne Mechada

Ingredients

3 pounds Sirloin
4 tablespoons Dry Red Wine
1 Clove garlic, crushed
2 Onions, sliced
3 Bay leaves
Salt/pepper

Preparation

Simmer meat with wine, garlic, onions, bay, salt/pepper about 3 hours.

Shread meat, set aside. Saute onion and green pepper in oil. Add ingredients for sauce and simmer 30 minutes more. Good Venezuelan recipe.
