Bison Bacon Burgers

Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) Organic Nitrate-Free Turkey Bacon (I use Applegate Farms), diced into sma
1 teaspoon Dried Roasted Minced Garlic (you can use a few cloves of fresh chopped garlic as
1 handful fresh Italian Parsley or afew teaspoons dried parsley

Combine all ingredients in bowl

Shape into patties

Toss them on the Grill for about 4 minutes each side (remember the Bison meat is very lean so it can dry out quickly if over done)

About

I love Bison for it's healthy, high protein, nutrient dense profile. It has so much flavor for such a lean meat! Blended with the chopped turkey bacon the burgers stay moist, healthy, lean and have even more flavor! I serve them a few ways: on a whole grain bun with pickles, ketchup, light mayo maybe some mustard. Wrapped in a tortilla is great too. For low-carb preferences serve your Bison Bacon Burger over a huge bowl of steamed veggies and a side of salsa. If you can't find the Bison you can use organic ground turkey, chicken or beef instead.
