About
Ok, so I promise, cross my heart, hope to die: I am really back this time! For the last week and a half I have been trying to get things back on track. Today, I made the iron clad decision that it is time to get my life back to normal 100%, which means:
* Back to blogging (who knew taking pictures of my food and putting them on the internet could be so normal to me :) )
* Back to running- OH HOW I HAVE MISSED YOU!
* Back to clean eating- which hasn’t gone by the wayside as much as everything else in my life has.
* Back to being productive
* Back to BODY PUMP!!!!!
I have missed all of these things so much and am ready to get back to/feel more like myself. You guys have all been so patient with me, and I am super grateful for that.
So let me fill you guys in on my Sunday!!!! I got up at 9am (woo hoo for sleep) and made some dark chocolate chip oatmeal pancakes…yummo!
I topped them with 1/2 of a banana and some peanut butter/yogurt topping!!!!
Peanut Butter/ Yogurt Topping:
* 1/2 a cup of vanilla chobani
* 1 table spoon of honey
* 1 table spoon of peanut butter
Mix three ingredients together and, microwave for 20 seconds.
So much more delicious and more nutritious than maple syrup!!
Here is yesterday’s outfit!!!!
Jeans (Gap), White T (H&M), Brown Suede flats (Nine West), Yellow Wool Blazer (Target). I am really into blazers with jeans lately, especially printed and bright colored ones, I feel like that make for a fun yet polished look. What are your thoughts?
After I got dressed, my friend Lauren and I headed to Buffalo Exchange. I ended up getting two dresses and a blue leather skirt. I am so excited to have one of these in Boston, you have NO IDEA!!!! I fell in love with Buffalo Exchange during my trip to Austin.
After shopping Lauren and I stopped in next door to Anna’s to get burritos for lunch. I got a chicken burrito with everything and we split guac and chips.
So good, I haven’t been to Anna’s in a long time. Of course no trip to Davis Square is complete without a trip to Kickass Cupcakes!
I bought 5 cupcakes!!!
Cookies and Cream (For Adam, he came home last night…thank goodness, I missed him!)
Doggie cupcake for Oscar!
Cinnapunk (vegan cinnamon pumpkin cupcake!)
Two Chocolate ones!
(I ate this one last night…very moist and tasty!!!)
I didn’t eat dinner because I was so full from my burrito. Adam returned from his road trip last night so we spent some time together, I missed him bunches. Oscar did too!!
In an effort to get myself back to normal this morning I had my most normal breakfast for me: Green Monster! -which is REALLY abnormal for most people, including the bus driver this morning that asked me what that “gross thing” I was drinking was.
I had some that didn’t fit into the shaker. So, I drank it out of a margarita glass while getting ready for work, because I wanted to feel fancy ;)
YUMMY Green Goodness!
Today’s Monster:
* 1 banana
* Green Superfood
* Bee Pollen
* PB2
* Chocolate PB2
* Protein Powder
* Fat Free Cow’s Milk
* Choc0late Almond Milk
* Three handfuls of spinach
* ice
Today’s outfit is this adorable dress I got yesterday:
Black shirt dress (Buffalo Exchange), Black patterned tights (target), Gray Boots (Target).
My favorite thing about this dress is the neckline…so cute, right?
:)
Well, I am really back now! “Reunited and it feels so good!”
