Chocolate Syrup
Ingredients
cups cocoa powder
2 1/4 cups cane sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
cups boiling water
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in heavy saucepan

Pour boiling water over mixture and stir to combine

Over medium heat, stir until mixture is smooth

Continue to heat until slightly thickened, about 8-12 minutes. Do not boil

Remove from heat

Stir in vanilla

Cool and refrigerate
.
Yield:
2 Tablespoons per serving of cold milk
