Raspberry Granita

Ingredients

225 grams Fresh raspberries
100 grams Caster sugar
Half a lemon, juice of

Preparation

1 Whiz the raspberries in a liquidiser or food processor until completely smooth. Sieve into a bowl to get rid of the hard pips.

Stir in the sugar, lemon juice and 150ml/ 1/4 pint of water.

2 Put in a plastic container and place in the freezer for three hours, stirring twice until the mixture is made up of large crystals but is not completely frozen.
