Cauliflower "Au Lovely" Gratin

Ingredients
1 inch large cauliflower - cut to florets and then chopped into strips - about 1 inch thick
2/3 cup of heavy cream
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
cup Fresh chives - ΒΌ - chopped into small pieces
1 cup of gruyere cheese - grated
Preparation

Pre-heat the oven to 375. Place the sliced florets into a large baking casserole. In a small bowl mix the heavy cream, garlic powder, kosher salt and pepper together and pour over the cauliflower. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over top of the cauliflower, and then top with the panko bread crumbs and dried oregano.

I have a love for cauliflower - and this is just one other recipe to add to my bank for when I have a fridge full of them. This is a delicious side dish that is not only tasty, but simple. Cauliflower 'au' Gratin is a perfect alternative to potatoes.
