Ingredients
1 cup
quick
oats
2 tablespoons
flour
1/4 teaspoon
baking powder
1/4 teaspoon
salt
2 tablespoons
butter,
melted
1/4 cup
hot
water
1/4 cup
quick
oats
Preparation
1
Place 1/2 of the quick oats in
blender
container; cover and
blend
until oats are a fine powder.

Repeat with another 1/2 cup quick oats.

Combine
blended
oats, flour,
baking powder,
and
salt.
Stir
in
melted butter
and hot water.

Sprinkle a board with 1/4 cup quick oats. Pat out dough to a 10 inch circle about 1/8 inch thick.
Cut
into 12 wedges.

Place on ungreased
baking
sheet and
bake
at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Turn
off oven and leave the door open. Leave the oat cakes in the oven until firm and crisp, 4 to 5 minutes.

Serve
with butter.
