Fresh Strawberries and Pound Cake Squares With Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

2 quarts fresh washed strawberries, stems removed
1 pound cake or angelfood cake, cubed
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup half and half creamer
1 stick butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons flavoring (vanilla, Kahlua, or amaretto)

Preparation

In a heavy sauce pan over low heat, combine all ingredients and stir frequently until smooth and creamy. Serve warm with fresh strawberries.
