a rule of thumb always when serving meat is to serve 1/4 pound of meat for each person. I am sure you will have side dishes and extra stuff to serve next to this meal, so 1/4 of a pound (250 grams) should be enough. unless your guests are meat lovers, i would add couple more pounds to have as an extra.
Dont' forget that the brisket will shrink when it cooks and there is about 30% or more fat on a good brisket. If it shrinks 10% and you remove 20% of the fat your 10 pound brisket will only weigh 7 pounds when ready to serve. Keep that in mind when you apply one of the above formulas.
