Question: Where is the vinegar in the mahi-mahi recipe by Kristi Rimkus?
January 5, 2011
I made this recipe and it was great, but I looked all over for the amount of vinegar to add and I think it was left out. Could you please add it? I used only a smidge since I didn't want to ruin the recipe.,

You got me curious about this one - where is the recipe?

If you're talking about her Spicy Mahi-Mahi Burrito recipe, it calls for 1/4 c of cider vinegar.

Actually gals, it's neither one. This is called Mahi-Mahi in Mushrooms and Vermouth (what else?) and I believe the link is www.foodista.com/recipe/6MKZM2YH I just don't know the in's and out's of this website yet. I do believe the vinegar has been left out because it mentions it in the text. Thanks.

The original recipe on Fine Cooking calls for 1/2 C vermouth and 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar- . so I would do some adjusting for the amount of liquid.

Thanks for clarifying...Kristi has several hundred recipes on the site! I left a comment on her profile, she will get an email and can hopefully help clarify further: http://www.foodista.com/profile/V8WCH6WZ/kristi-rimkus

Thanks so much. If her others are as good as this, I'm hooked. I'm not a great cook, but I can follow directions! Thanks
