Are you working off of a specific recipe that you can share?
In general, I would dissolve in water first and then add after other seafood is in and cooked. Knorr brodo (broths) are pretty salty, so I wouldn't add any other salt and add a bit at a time tasting as you go.
thank you Barnaby, I was cooking a seafood spaghetti with crab, squid, prawns and clams. Basically all I did was to pre-cook the crab add then add all the other seafood, once all was cooked in approx 3-4 minutes a natural sauce was evident, to this I added 3 teaspoons of Brodo di Pesce and simmered for 5 minutes.
once this step completed I added the drained spaghetti to the pan and tossed and mixed well, serving garnised with well chopped parsley, spring onions and dill.
cheers Rod
