This is the perfect dessert for a hot summer night. It is frozen, light, creamy, and sweet - all in one.
My mother used to make this with a Grape Nuts crust, and we all picked out the cereal bits from the sweet pie filling. I have made it more kid friendly, by using a simple graham cracker crust instead. Wait until you see how high it is! Truthfully, you could make two separate pies out of it, but it is light and airy enough to serve fat, high slices. Have a wonderful 4th!
