Veg Soup

Ingredients

1/2 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 - 2 lb. chuck steak, chopped up
1 tablespoon garlic
1 lg. onion
Soup bone
2 stalks celery
1 can corn or 1 can kidney beans
pepper to taste
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1 tablespoon sweet basil

Preparation

Saute meat in oil over medium high. Add chopped onions, garlic, bell pepper. Turn down heat. Add seasoning and soup bone, water over top meat. Simmer 2 hours. Add vegetables and cook 1 hour. Add can vegetables last.
