Bowtie Pasta With Broccoli

Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
5 plum tomatoes, skinned
cut up, or substitute canned tomatoes
1 can (13 ¾ oz.) chicken broth
1/4 cup white cooking wine
6 fresh basil leaves, cut in strips or ½ tsp. dry
Pepper to taste
1 lg. head broccoli, cut into florets
3/4 pound bowtie pasta
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus additional for garnish
