Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup nuts, chopped
Preparation

Mix flour and baking soda.

Combine shortening, sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy.

Beat in eggs.

Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff.

Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. .
