Grilled Indian Spiced Tofu is an easy late summer meal. Cubes of tofu are marinated in fragrant Indian spices and then grilled to perfection. The tofu is then served in a pita with a cooling cucumber and onion yogurt sauce. It is always better to buy whole spices and grind them up yourself, as you do in this recipe. They are fresher and have a stronger flavor. Most of the spices listed can be found in your local market or an Indian foods store. Grilled Indian Spiced Tofu with Yogurt
Ingredients:
1 small Cucumber, peeled
Canola oil for frying
1 tablespoon Coriander seeds
1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
1 tablespoon Paprika
3 tablespoons Yogurt
2 tablespoons Turmeric
1 tablespoon Garam masala
Directions:
Blitz all the spices together until finely ground in a coffee grinder. Stir in 3 tablespoons of yogurt.

This recipe is great for all those who still dislike tofu. Indeed, plain tofu tastes nothing but with a little creativity, one can make tofu taste wonderful.
