Morikawa Ume Soumen (Dried Noodle) With Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
200 grams Morikawa Ume Soumen (1 packet)
3 Boil water in a large pot or wok. Add dried noodles in the boiling water, gently
Drain hot noodles and rinse the noodles under running water and drain well
Chill noodles in the fridge for few hours
4 Pour ice water over noodles to loosen, drain well and put it into equal portion on bamboo plates or serv
3/4 teaspoon Hondashi granules (refer here)
1 1/2 cups Water
4 1/2 tablespoons Mirin
3 Bring all the above ingredients to boil and simmer at low heat for 5 minutes and leave to cool and serve into- 4 small bowls
Then using chopsticks, pick up a small amount of noodles from the tray and swirls it in the dipping sauce

This Ume Soumen is fragrant and it had a sweet taste of plum after cooked.
