470 milliliters (16 fl oz or 2 cups) whole milk, warmed
60 grams (½ stick or 4 tbsp) unsalted butter, melted in microwave
150 grams (5.3 oz or ¾ cup) sugar
3 eggs
5 milliliters (1 tsp) vanilla extract
230 grams (8 oz) bread, cut into cubes
150 grams (5.35 oz or 1 cup) chocolate chips
3 small pears peeled and sliced or chopped
